Description:
Frankie is a young monster whose life often feels like it's about to unravel-- she can't even count on getting through a softball game with all her limbs still attached! When she meets Momo, a girl who-- despite being made of squishy, pink slime-- is as sharp as she is cute, Frankie wants nothing more than to get closer to her. In order to do that, Frankie has to thread the needle around a new job, a scheming skeleton and the world's hairiest ex-girlfriend drama. Join Frankie in a world full of monsters, magic and (hopefully!) love, as she tries her best to set the seams on an exciting new life!
Brief description:
Emily Gossmann has let comics eat her brain for most of her life, because she loves them a whole lot. She makes them in her spare time around working in animation. Raised just outside of Calgary, AB-- Emily now scuttles around BC's lower mainland and can be spotted looking at cool mushrooms, enjoying a nice coffee or feeding her new quilting habit. My Love, In Stitches is her first long-form project. It embodies her love for telling queer stories mixed with comedy, sci-fi and a whole lot of heart. Also she likes to draw girls, monsters, and monster girls.
