Brief description: Susan Blanshard was born in Hampshire, England. She is a best-selling author, and an internationally acclaimed poet, essayist. Susan experienced a nomadic childhood. Consequently, her literary work is colored by her multicultural past and present.Susan has published selected poems such as 'Fragments of the Human Heart', 'Afterword', 'Send The Raven', 'Quieter Histories', 'Poems From The Alley', 'Afterword', and full-length books in poetic prose include 'Sheetstone', Spuyten Duyvil, New York and 'Honey in my Blood', 'Sleeping With The Artist'. Her selected essays, short-fiction and poems are published in numerous international literary magazines including: The World's Literary Magazine: Projected Letters, Six Bricks Press, Arabesque Magazine, Lotus International Women's Magazine, ICORN International Cities of Refuge.
