Descriptions, Reviews, etc.

Description:

A disastrously perfect blind date and a wild night out. Insta-love meets insta-disaster in these laugh-out-loud Valentine's day novellas.

Brief description: Kelly is a writer of modern, funny, and fun romance, married to a writer, mother of a creative dynamo of a ten-year-old boy and is currently a little sleepy! She's a klutz and goofball and loves lipstick as much as her Chuck Taylors. Good things in Kelly's world include pepperoni pizza, Flair pens, wine, coffee, laughing with friends until her stomach hurts, a musician at the top of their game, matinee movies on a weekday, the Chicago Cubs, a fresh new notebook full of possibilities, bourbon on a cold night, Fantasy Football, witty men, walking through the local zoo in the rain and that moment when a character clicks in and begins to write their own adventure.

Review Quotes:

If you don't like to snort, spit-take and laugh out loud then do not read this. Evie Alexander and Kelly Kay have given us two hilarious stories that you are going to love. And the best part is that this is only the beginning!

These are novellas so they are quick but that doesn't mean there's no substance, even with the time frames you are still going to get great characters to fall in love with and some old friends to visit with too!

Grab this duet, and spend Valentine's Day with these characters. You are going to love them!

I had "tears" dangerously close to running down my legs at one point. This book is so hilarious that I stopped reading it about an hour ago, and I'm laughing as I write this review. In fact, I just stopped typing, stared off into space, shook my head and uttered, "What the f**k?" while laughing.

A lot of people read books and say things like, "This should be a movie!" The entire time I read this, I thought, "Dear Lord, someone make this into a Broadway play right now!" Lin Manuel Miranda can score it. As long as you could get the animal handling correct for the first part, that is. Who knows, maybe they could "Lion King" this and make actors play the animals?

if you like romantic comedy with a dash of "What the hell did I just read and why do I love it so much?" grab this one. Both of the authors did an outstanding job with their stories, and they're the first laugh-out-loud stories I've read in years. It's a quick read, and will absolutely liven up your Valentine's Day.
