Brief description: Roger Clarke graduated in Classics at Cambridge. Alongside a career in government service he also studied French and Russian to a high level, specializing in the writings of Alexander Pushkin. His published Pushkin translations include Boris Godunov and The Little Tragedies, Eugene Onegin, Ruslan and Lyudmila, and Love Poems (2013). He is Series Editor for Alma Classics' project of publishing all Pushkin's works in English. His other publications include translations from Latin of Erasmus's Praise of Folly and Thomas More's Utopia.
