Brief description: Ricardo Torres Marzo received his Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Valencia, Spain, in 2014 and is currently a teacher of archaeology at the Postgraduate Program in Mesoamerican Studies at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). His research focuses on Lowland Maya archaeology with an emphasis on technical and typological analysis of lithic artifacts. He has directed and collaborated in different archaeological projects in Mexico, Guatemala and Spain.
