Description: This scholarly work examines a series oftransdisciplinary texts, printed and virtual, by Puerto Rican writers and artists on the devastation of Hurricane Maria in 2017 and the civil unrest in Puerto Rico in the summer of 2019 which led to the resignation of former governor Ricardo Rossello Nevares. Artists and writers include Marta Aponte Alsina, Mayra Santos Febres, Eduardo Lalo, Vanessa Vilches, Sofia Irene Cardona, Antonio Martorell, Arnaldo Rodrâiguez Bague, among others. The author is a former professor of comparative literature at UPR.
