Description:

Gold Digger is Lisa Collyer's fiercely feminist second poetry collection, ranging from the gold fields to the factory floor, the switchboard to Parliament House. Formally inventive and intertextually rich.

Brief description: Lisa Collyer is a writer and educator based in Boorloo (Perth). She is the author of How to Order Eggs Sunny Side Up (Life Before Man, 2023), which was shortlisted for the Dorothy Hewett Award. Her personal essay Prolonged Exposure appears in Women of a Certain Courage (Fremantle Press, 2025), and her poem 'The Grape Pickers' was shortlisted for the Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize (2025). In the same year, she was awarded an artist residency at Bundanon Art Museum, where she will develop new work exploring climate grief. Gold Digger is her second poetry collection.
