Description:
Volume 7: Theopoetics collects the papers published in the years following Caputo's retirement from Syracuse University in which he began to characterize his work as "theopoetics," the creative activity in which the "event" that is harbored in the name of God is given word and image. Many of these papers, some previously unpublished, reflect his active engagement with the "emergent church," his extensive lectures and interviews around the United States and abroad, and his participation in the Westar Institute, home of the "Jesus Seminar."
