Brief description: Stefania Heim is a translator, poet, scholar, editor, and educator. Geometry of Shadows, her book of translations of Giorgio de Chirico's Italian poems is forthcoming in 2019 with APS Books. Her other translations of de Chirico's works have appeared in A Public Space, Metaphysical Art, and numerous exhibition catalogs. She is author of the poetry collections HOUR BOOK (Ahsahta Press, 2019) and A Table That Goes On for Miles (Switchback Books 2014). A founding editor of CIRCUMFERENCE: Poetry in Translation and former poetry editor of Boston Review, she holds degrees from Harvard College, Columbia University, and the CUNY Graduate Center. She teaches at Western Washington University.
