Brief description: Dr. Railey was the first Family Medicine Clerkship Director at Saint Louis University (SLU) and has also been Chief Medical Officer for St. Louis County. He served as Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and is currently Emeritus Professor, consulting with the Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Dr. Railey has published articles in the areas of obesity, spirituality and medical care, stress management without drugs, and health disparities. Semi-retired and enjoying life with his wife Mary Paulette; they are the parents of three adult children and have three grandchildren.
