Description: Princess Julianna may be cursed to dwell in darkness, but she's no damsel in distress. Her father, King of the Land of Fritillary, angered the evil wizard Farland Phelps, who cursed the princess to die if touched by sunlight, and she has dug her way out after only eight years! Warren Kensington, a member of a seafaring traveling theater troupe, is the unwitting cure to the curse. When they accidentally meet, it sets in motion a chain of events that uncover Farland's plans to take over the throne. -- adapted from back cover
