Description:
THE GRAPEST BOOK A KID WILL EVER READ!!!
Melvin and Marty are two of the funniest grapes ever to hang together. Everything upsets Melvin. He's a real pain in the...vine. A constant complainer. If he were on a rose bush, he'd be a thorn!
When these two grapes get picked to go to market, things don't go too well for Melvin. "It's too hot! It's too cold!" It's always too...something-or-other. Let's face it, Melvin is one sour grape.
Luckily for Melvin, his bestest bud Marty is "as cool as a cucumber" and "smarter than spinach" and is joining him on a fantastically fun adventure that can only be described as truly GRAPE!
Brief description: Bob Joseph, Author & Gabriel Sanz, Illustrator. How does an award-winning illustrator from Spain--fluent in Spanish and speaking little English--team up with an Emmy award-winning writer and author from America--fluent in English who speaks a little "Google Translate"--get together? Magic. They are not like two peas in a pod. They are more like two grapes on a vine. If Bob were a grape, he'd be Melvin--a sour grape that complains about everything! "It's too hot, it's too cold"--it's always too something or other for Melvin. And every Melvin needs a smarty like Marty to get by. If Gabriel were a grape, he'd be the cool, calming Marty. Together, Bob and Gabriel are a hilarious comedy duo. And they've created an engaging children's book with wit, heart and humor--"Sour Grapes."
