Description: In this book, I take you through one actual year in the life of a college tennis coach - me - and allow you to experience with me the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, the thrill of victory and agony of defeat during the 2012-13 Notre Dame tennis season and academic year. It will be a normal year, not unique in achievement, yet unique to me, as it represents my final season in a forty-four- year coaching career. It begins immediately after the conclusion of the 2012 NCAA Men's Tennis Championships in Athens, Georgia, and it concludes with the 2013 Championships, and my ITA Hall of Fame induction there in Champaign, Illinois.
