Brief description:

Born and raised in the city and suburbs of Chicago, BROOKE O'NEILL had a passion for drawing (and becoming a mermaid) after watching The Little Mermaid on the big screen at age five. Some years after obtaining a BA & Graphic Design degree from Illinois State University, she began to realize her real passion was illustration. She has illustrated several children's books, is a SCBWI member and volunteer, and is looking to further her artistic journey. When she's not drawing, she loves spending time with her two children, husband, and their dog, Donut. Other interests are reading, taking care of her plants, and watching scary movies. If she wasn't an artist, she would definitely be a professional organizer.
