Description:

Brief description: STEVE WILSON is a native of Lawton, Oklahoma, where his grandfather and great-grandfather were among the earliest settlers in 1901. Wilson first began his research on the Spider Rock treasure while still in high school. He is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, and served in Vietnam with the Fourth Infantry Division as an army combat correspondent. He is director emeritus of the Museum of the Great Plains, where he also served as editor of the Great Plains Journal for twenty-seven years. He is the author or editor of four books and more than 150 articles on the Southwest and Mexico.
