Description:
A beautiful, insightful, and eclectic collection of life experiences written by a Maryknoll missionary priest, conveying a simple, yet inspirational missive on each page.
Brief description: Father Peter Chabot grew up in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. After high school and service in the Marine Corps, he drifted through a series of different jobs before experiencing a calling to the Missionary Priesthood. After Ordination, he was assigned to Bolivia, and for twenty years, worked mainly in the high snow-capped Andes, and then, visited by boat isolated river communities along the hundreds of meandering miles of rivers of the Amazon rain forest. These meditations are a reflection on some of these experiences and a reminder that whatever we do, wherever we are, there is a deeper meaning to life, and God speaks to us in and through them.
