Description: Return to Strasburg, Pennsylvania, where Belinda King holds her family and business together during a season of great change that threatens her peace and future happiness.

Brief description: New York Times bestselling and award-winning author Wanda E. Brunstetter is one of the founders of the Amish fiction genre. She has written more than one hundred books, some translated into four languages. With nearly thirteen million copies sold, Wanda's stories consistently earn spots on the nation's most prestigious bestseller lists and have received numerous awards.

Wanda's ancestors were part of the Anabaptist faith, and her novels are based on personal research intended to accurately portray the Amish way of life. Her books are well-read and trusted by many Amish, who credit her for giving readers a deeper understanding of the people and their customs.

When Wanda visits her Amish friends, she finds herself drawn to their peaceful lifestyle, love for God, sincerity, and close family ties. Wanda enjoys photography, ventriloquism, gardening, bird-watching, beachcombing, and spending time with her family. She and her late husband, Richard, raised and were blessed with two grown children. Wanda enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Review Quotes: This delightful story gives us a beautiful glimpse into the life of a typical Amish family in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. It also gives us a look at how their English neighbors across the street view their simple life. The characters are all very realistic and the storyline moves along at a moderate pace, with each character giving us an introspective view of their thoughts and feelings throughout the narrative. I highly recommend reading this book, but don't miss out on the others in this series. Ms. Brunstetter is a prolific author and has written many charming books about the Amish lifestyle.--Viki Ferrell "Fresh Fiction" (2/23/2021 12:00:00 AM)
