Description:
Comical chaos paired with heart, purpose, and a purr-fectly satisfying sense of belonging for every child (and cat)!
Oscar longs for many things--but mostly, he longs for a home . . . and mice!
So when the shopkeeper says, "I've always wanted a cat," Oscar is certain he's found his home. He twists. He twines. He waits for night to fall . . .
. . . and follows his whiskers straight into trouble.
From tangled yarn to toppled flour bins, Oscar's hunting heart leaves chaos everywhere he goes. One by one, the townspeople decide he isn't the cat they want. Maybe Oscar just isn't meant for people after all.
But beyond the busy streets, in a wide-open barn, where the mice scurry and the moon shines bright, Oscar discovers something wonderful: The very thing that stopped him from fitting in before might be exactly what makes him perfect here--and perfectly at home.
