FAMILY LIES
Her infant niece was screaming when Lacey Madison crawled into the house through the narrow bathroom window. Warily, she entered the master bedroom. Baby Tina was in her crib. Tina's father lay on the bed. Dead. Where was Tina's mother? How could Carolyn, Lacey's perfect sister, leave her infant home alone?
Suddenly Carolyn is the prime suspect in her husband's murder. And radio newswriter Lacey is now making headlines herself. With her handsome managing editor Hank Flores at her side, Lacey vows to unearth the truth beginning at L.A.'s La Brea Tar Pits, where the dig for ancient bones has uncovered fresh blood: a body resembling Carolyn's. Lacey is in the crosshairs of a mystery. And as she begins to investigate the sister she never really knew, not even Hank can protect her from the wily killer's unerring aim....
