Brief description: The Author is an archaeologist and historical researcher, retired after ten years at the Museum of New Mexico and twenty-eight years consulting with utilities, mining and engineering companies, Native American tribes and other federal and state agencies. He is the author of "Merchants, Guns, & Money: The Story of Lincoln County and Its Wars"; "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid as I Knew Them"; and "When the Texans Came." He lives in Las Cruces with his wife Cheryl.
