Brief description: Alexander E. Hooke is a Baltimore native, and has lived in the city for over fifty years. He and his two children have attended public schools and enjoyed the range of experiences in urban life, though also aware of its drawbacks. He attended the Community College of Baltimore and Towson State, and has taught at Villa Julie College/Stevenson University since 1978. He has published Virtuous Persons, Vicious Deeds and Encounters with Alphonso Lingis, in addition to numerous academic articles.
