Brief description: William L. "Butch" Odom, Jr. has served at Church Health in Memphis, Tennessee, for over 25 years in a variety of roles. He is also the author of the companion volume, Walking to the Cross: Six Weeks of Daily Devotions for Lent. Butch lives in Memphis with his wife, Debbie. They attend First Congregational United Church of Christ. Butch is a certified peer recovery specialist, using his lived experience with depression to help others. In 2019 he was named Certified Peer Recovery Specialist of the Year for the State of Tennessee.
