Description:

This work is a historical-theological depiction of the development of the doctrine of the Person and Work of Jesus Christ.

Brief description: Lawrence Reginald Barnard, ThD, was born in a pastor's family in Australia as the fourth of five children. Later entering the ministry himself, he eventually served as a pastor and theologian on three continents: Australia, Europe, and North America. His significant pastoral experience and passion for Christology greatly influenced his teaching ministry at several schools. He ultimately served on the faculty of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary as a professor of historical theology and Christian history and as the director of the Ora Byram Allison Library.
