Brief description: Michael R. Spradlin, PhD, is the editor of Personal Evangelism, and the author of Sons of the 43rd and numerous scholarly articles on church history, missions, and evangelism. He has edited and revised Beaman's Commentary on the Gospel of John and Studies in Genesis: A Creation Commentary. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States and around the world. Dr. Spradlin serves as president of Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, a role he has held for over twenty years. He is a member of Mid-America's church history faculty and chair of the evangelism department.
