Brief description: Paul Meisel has illustrated over eighty books including books for early readers and picture books. He is also the author/illustrator of a dozen books and was the recipient of the 2018 Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor Award from the Association for Library Service to Children. Meisel studied art at Wesleyan University, the Tyler School of Art in Rome, and Yale University. When he's not illustrating, writing, or spending time with his family, Meisel plays tennis and pickle ball, and nurtures his green thumb in his garden.
