Description: It is a concise treatment of how a believer is to understand and solve problems using the Scriptures in dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

He was the founder of the Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation (CCEF), the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (formerly NANC), and the Institute for Nouthetic Studies (INS). Adams was the author of over one hundred books, including the best-selling Competent to Counsel, a book that launched the modern biblical counseling movement. He was a recipient of The Order of the Palmetto, the highest civilian honor awarded by the State of South Carolina.

Review Quotes: "In his booklet, Problems: Solving them God's Way, Jay Adams provides biblical, practical and straightforward guidance. You would expect nothing less from Jay! He helps you distinguish and navigate problems that you bring upon yourself as well as those that are brought upon you. He grounds the Christian's ability to solve problems in the God who solves our problems of sin and suffering through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ and the giving of the Holy Spirit. From therea, he maps out a strategy for using the means of grace (the Bible, prayer, and other believers) to find a clear path to change."--Tim S. Lane, Executive Director, CCEF
