Description:

This book offers and introduces an aesthetic/literary analysis of many Sherlock Holmes stories. The scholarly motivation that propels the course of study exhibited and practiced in the book is to unearth the cryptic meanings behind the plots, events, and characters.

In some stories, the reader is exposed to information that enables him/her to decipher the enigma even before Sherlock Holmes does. In this respect, the scholarly investigation practiced in this book is like an X-ray image of the Sherlock Holmes stories examined.
