Brief description: B. J. Oropeza (PhD, Durham University) is professor in the Department of Biblical and Religious Studies at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. His many works include Exploring Second Corinthians, Exploring Intertextuality, articles in The Oxford Encyclopedia of Biblical Interpretation and The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Bible and Theology, and studies and translations in the Common English Bible and the Wesley Study Bible.
