Those familiar with the always popular "Choose Your own Adventure" series will recognize how these books work. There are three main story lines leading to thirty-eight different choices and fourteen endings. This title is concerned with the Age of Pirates during the late sixteen hundreds to the seventeen twenties. The reader chooses to be part of the Royal English Navy, a sailor on a merchant ship, or a pirate. Historical facts and conditions are accurately described and give children a true impression of life as a sailor.
