Description: Kira wields mystic power, heals the wounded, and practices herbal medicine on the Lucian Islands. As she is about to come into her prime, the Janga Elders ostracize her for an ominous birthmark, and she loses her future patients. With her medical career in ruins, her only chance to practice healing depends on the distinguished field surgeon, Dr. Tristen McIntyre. He won't entertain the freewheeling charades of a hot shot healer. Driven by a need to save lives, the orphan Kira will confront her abandonment issues and the celebrated doctor. Not only must she convince him she is the town's future healer, she must overcome human prejudice. Since she is a Cheetah huntress, her tribal ways are a major detriment. One man is the gateway to her dreams or the death knell to all she holds dear, and worst of all she has fallen in love with him.
