Perhaps it is meant to be read and recorded for audio playback without visual distraction. It is another conversation. It is a follow on conversation of two friends who wrestle with following Jesus in today's world. This time, however, there is just something amiss. There is a weariness that shouldn't be there. With eyes fixed on Jesus and all energy used to press on towards the goal, how can things still hurt so much? It's like somebody needs to call a doctor.
