Description: "Zoologists are animal experts. They study animal behavior and their interactions with the world around them, as well as the behavior of animals in captivity. Many work for zoos and aquariums, but that's not all. Many zoologists work in the field in a variety of environments and conditions, ranging from state parks to fisheries. Zoologists may have a degree in biology, ecology, wildlife conservation, and other closely related scientific areas, and most specialize in a specific field. Colorful photographs and manageable text help make this an informative and inspiring guide for young readers interested in pursuing a career as a zoologist"-- Provided by publisher.
