Description: Prose that is wry, humorous, eccentric, and sometimes profane. . . Dennis Hopper's poems can be described as outrageous, entertaining, nostalgic, and tragic. Most often based on real events and real people, they represent a slice of life garnered from the author's personal experience and a lifetime of wondering, watching, and listening. Hopper-a husband, father, and veteran-also touches upon the sometimes funny, sometimes sad process of aging in this powerful debut collection. Words Will is another step in one man's journey.
