Description:
The chilling third book in internationally bestselling author LJ Ross's DCI Ryan Mystery series, where betrayals and violent confrontations culminate in shocking revelations and a deadly showdown...
The hunter becomes the hunted...
When a man is found dead inside the remote church of Heavenfield, Detective Chief Inspector Ryan is the only other person for miles--and the prime suspect.
Suspended from the force and cut off from his team, Ryan must fight to clear his name. But when members of a secretive organization known as The Circle begin turning up dead, the line between hunter and hunted blurs. Someone wants Ryan framed, finished, and forgotten.
To survive, he'll have to expose the killer hidden in plain sight...before his own name is carved into the coroner's list.
Set against the stark, moody landscape of northern England, Heavenfield is a gripping, atmospheric thriller where no one--not even the innocent--can escape the past.
