Description: As Petit Pierre journeys across the wetlands, he asks each creature where he should live. He accumulates gifts from them until he realizes the wetlands are home to all his friends and, just maybe, to Pierre as well. Each page includes a fact pertinent to that page.
Brief description: Heather Stanley has an MFA in illustration and design from Radford University. She is the director of creative services at the Audubon Nature Institute. Her love of animals and nature stems from a lifetime exploring the natural world.
