Description: The action takes place in a Louisiana bayou and on a migration route along the east coast. Its themes of self-belief, environmental health and a love story are told with innocent charm. The main character is a moth who believes she is as good as any monarch butterfly and sets out in disguise to prove it. If she were human, she would be a girl of age 14 to 17 years. She leaves behind her best friend, and communes with him through the moon, in an ancient method, and by email, as she tackles the difficulties of migration, and he remedies a problem in the bayou at home.
