Full of encouragement and good humor, Checkup Champs! (by the superstar creators of My Mom is Magical! and My Dad is Amazing! addresses the worry of going to the doctor in a fresh and fun new way
It's time for a checkup--but no need to worry! Doctor Whiskers and Nurse Chirpwell will be with you every step of the way. Look how tall you are and how perfect your reflexes are! Great job with that shot--be sure to pick a prize! And your prescription? Keep being AWESOME! This book strives to turn a potentially stressful experience into a fun one with bold, full-color illustrations and pun-derful text.
Inspired by the success of their potty training book, Super Pooper and Whizz Kid: Potty Power, Hello!Lucky, a sister-mom duo, wanted to bring the same humor and warmth to demystify doctor's appointments. And as with Super Pooper, they consulted with several pediatricians to get their input and approval of the book, so it's mom-created, pediatrician approved!
