Agnieszka "Ag" Jatkowska dreamed of being an artist from a very young age and graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Gdansk, Poland with a MA in Graphic Design and Illustration. Ag now lives in Bath and works as a full-time illustrator. She really enjoys illustrating children and animal characters, creating their personalities visually, and making them come alive on the page. In her spare time she loves practicing yoga, discovering new places and taking long walks with her husband.

This book is well-crafted to appeal to toddlers. The language is in the first-person in present tense, which toddlers will be able to follow, and involves daily activities and sights which will be familiar to them. The vocabulary is simple and toddlers will know most of the words, and the rhyming text will appeal to toddlers and help them increase their language skills.
