Brief description: Edward T. Moore is the author of "Plumbing 101," "Plumbing 201," "Plumbing 301," "Plumbing 401" and reviewer of several other trade publications. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering technology and a master's degree in technology systems with a concentration in manufacturing engineering. Ed is currently the facilities manager for Carowinds theme park in Charlotte, NC. Ed retired from his previous position as the department manager and instructor for the Building Construction Trades and Air Conditioning Program at York Technical College in Rock Hill, S.C., where he has also served as an instructor for the Industrial Maintenance and Welding programs. Additionally, Ed was a licensed master plumber for South Carolina. He currently holds certification with NATE in Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps and is a certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Ed was previously certified as a HERS (Home Energy Rating Services) instructor through RESNET.
