"In
A Snow Day for Amos McGee, illustrated once again with Erin's woodblock-and-pencil art, flurries begin halfway through the book -- after literature's most doting zookeeper outfits his animals with hand-knit hats and scarves. (An owl in an argyle vest is especially fetching.)" --
New York Times "Fans of the gentle characters will enjoy this visit, with its eye-pleasing visual hallmarks shown in tidy, thoughtful woodblock print and pencil art." --
Horn Book Magazine "Sure to be enjoyed by families for years to come, the Steads' new book joins other timeless titles about snow days such as
Before Morning and
The Snowy Day." --
