Wally Wallace Goes To The Vet is the second of the Wally
series. It is a preschool/elementary age book. In this story
Wally is sick and is afraid of going to the doctor.
This story teaches that the doctor is not something to be
feared, and that the doctor is here to help, and make us feel
better. The concept of what a Veterinarian does, and that
they help animals just like human doctors.
This story demonstrates feelings children my experience
when going to the doctor, or staying in the hospital. I hope
Wally's experience can help them gain trust and learn that
we all feel afraid at times.
