Description: A book for all us old guys to have a good, light-hearted moan about life! If you see things happening all around you that really annoy you, but you don't want to say anything, read this and you'll find that you agree with most of them. Furthermore, you'll probably be able to add many more yourself. The older you get, the more things seem to annoy you. But you tend to be more tolerant - or do you?

Brief description: John Bell was born in Ripon, North Yorkshire. He attended Ripon Grammar School and after leaving trained as a draughtsman at a local structural engineering company until at the age of 25 he went to work in South Africa for a year. Back in England he met and married Jean in 1971 and returned to South Africa where both their sons were born. John remained in structural engineering in the Johannesburg area and Port Elizabeth. After seven years they returned to England for two years before another stint in South Africa where John was involved in a gold mining project for five years before coming home again for good.
