Description:
This book is a fascinating account of life in Turkey as experienced by Lucy Mary Jane Garnett, a British woman who lived in Istanbul in the late 19th century. Garnett writes about everything from her daily routine to Turkish cuisine, fashion, culture and customs. Her observations offer a unique glimpse into a world that has since changed dramatically.
