Description: Fans and admirers of superstar Lucille Ball are invited into an insider's album of a time as meaningful to the beloved actress as it was to the people of Jamestown, New York . Lucy Comes Home uncovers the local media extravaganza surrounding Lucy's homecoming celebration, her historic first return since her meteoric rise to fame, accompanied by her husband, Desi Arnaz. Giving readers a unique understanding of the person, the visit, and small-town America circa 1956, Lucy Comes Home is a must have for any I Love Lucy fan.

Brief description: Christopher T. Olsen is an author, attorney, and producer, who was raised in Jamestown, New York. When he saw a photograph of his mother as Homecoming Queen for the Lucy and Desi extravaganza, Olsen decided to research further. Finding a wonderful cache of never-before-seen photographs, he proceeded to create this memoir for Jamestownians and all lovers of Lucy and Desi alike. He is by profession an attorney, with a BA from Elon University and his juris doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and participates widely in the entertainment industry where he has developed feature films and produced several live events. Olsen lives in Los Angeles, California, with his wife and their four children, and visits Jamestown every summer with his family, continuing to maintain the lifelong friendships he built there.

Review Quotes: Olsen's hard work turned into an opportunity, and now, through his book, the people who love Lucy and the community she once called home are the beneficiaries.--Scott Kindberg "The Post-Journal "
