This is a sweet little story that would be useful to help children explain things they may experience but do not understand. It is a very comforting story about Penny and how her little white light follows her helping her to feel at ease. As a former student of Mrs. Lowe, I understand where this story originates and it is comforting to me as an adult. I would recommend this book for any child, but especially children who have been through some type of stressful situation or traumatic event. Tracey D.

I picked out this book for my mother for a Christmas present. The reason being was the author's experience with her husband's passing and the white light she saw afterward was similar to the experience we all had after my sister's (Kelly Ann's) passing at 14 years old and the little white butterfly we would all see at her gravesite. Seeing that butterfly always gave us the strength to carry on, just as the white light does for Penny (and the author.) Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone, but especially to those that are finding they need a little spiritual strengthening or those that have their own little white light. Oh yeah and mom loved the story as well, it was definitely the perfect gift for her. Amazon User
