Brief description: Alexandra Levin was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Drama. She began her writing career as a fashion journalist before becoming an award-winning advertising copywriter with leading agencies including Grey, BBDO, and Ogilvy.Her first novel, If Advertising's the Most Fun You Can Have With Your Pants On, How Come My Knickers Are Always in a Knot?, was published by Penguin South Africa in 1997.
