Review Quotes:

Great book. I really like that the authors run through different ways to do the same task and the trade-offs involved. They go into some detail on key things like solid vs floating bushing style reamers, the potential importance of reasonably tight bolt fit (and its affect on lug-lapping), and pre-boring the chamber for ideal alingnment. The book covers bore lapping and chambering between centers vs through the headstock. This book explains all these potentially complex ideas in a clear, concise way. Lots of great detail. Gordy's explanation of why he uses the range rod method vs the long indicator method and the specifics of how he dials in chamber end vs muzzle end are very good. Assumes some knowledge of machining.
