Description: My Year in France is the memoir of Harlem Hell Fighter, Sgt. Clinton J. Peterson. Born into poverty in upstate New York, his natural abilities and raw courage led him to a life of success and public recognition. Originally intended to be published by Peterson in his own day, My Year in France, along with his wartime diary, is now brought to the attention of a new generation a century after World War I. The unique comradeship of Sgt. Peterson and Captain Hamilton Fish is also explored.
