Description: Bishop Sutton's ordination-lists, in common with the rest of his register, were kept on rolls for the first ten years of his episcopate. None of these rolls has survived, and the records therefore begin with the Whitsun ordinations of the eleventh year of Sutton's episcopate (which ran from May 19, 1290, to May 18, 1291) and continue until his death on November 13, 1299.
