Description: "In September 2020, I was handed the reins of an advanced pathophysiology course with an average enrollment of 200 students per term, amounting to more than 800 students per year. Conventional wisdom is that the pathophysiology professor can rest on their laurels because the human body and the disease processes that undermine normal function change slowly or not at all. Timely course updates concern the pharmacology professor or the disease management course faculty. The pathophysiology professor must only awaken from their slumber....should a global pandemic occur"--
